PowerMid XL

- Allows infra-red control of products in another room
- Allows you to hide away equipment in cupboards, and still control them
- Compatible with Sky, Sky+ and SkyHD (See other compatibility below)
If you have speakers or TVs in a separate room from your stereo/VCR/Satellite
box, you know how inconvenient it is to adjust the volume, change channels,
radio stations, etc. Infrared (IR) remotes do not work through walls. You
have to walk into the other room any time you want to make a change. With
the Powermid XL you can now control your equipment through walls up to 40
feet away
The Powermid XL is made of of two pieces:
The Transmitter which receives your infra-red
command directly, then translates that into RF, and transmits that to the
awaiting receiver.
The receiver, which receives the RF
signals from the transmitter, and then translates them back to infra-red
signals to control your equipment directly
The transmitter blinks a red light to indicate that it is receiving your
command
For even more performance we recommend buying the additional stick-on
infra-red emitter P/N 11615 which will directly attach to two products
for 100% reliable reception of the infra-red signal
NOT compatible with high frequency remotes (like B&O, Humax or Digital CABLE
box models Pace 1000, 2000, and 4000, and SA Explorer 4000DVB, 4200 - these digital cable boxes can be used with the
Red-Eye)

Customer Comments about this product
Score:
I was pleased the product came fitted with a British 13-amp plug, rather than an American 2-pin plug like the old device I was replacing.
(Derek. Wantage)
Score:
Just what I needed, it allows me to put all my AV kit(bar the TV and projector of course) in a different room and seems to work very well through the walls, very discrete, I believe it has a very competitive price for what it does, highly recommended
(Phillip)
Score:
Excellent product - I have tried at least 3 other remote wireless extenders and this is the first one that actually works 100% right out of the box.
(Stuart. Crowthorne)
Score:
I ordered the wrong goods but I gave them to my son who rates them very highly. He thinks that they are good value.
(Frank. Andover)
Score:
Easy to use and setup. Small discrete transmitter and receiver. Only annoying issue is that the transmitter in the remote room is subject to interference and the blue LED flashes for no reason. Would be good if could bottom that issue out - or disable the
