AEI Security & Communications have the pleasure of introducing the worlds first IrDA compatible remote control extender (relay). You can use the DigiEye with any infra red remote controlled devices around your home knowing that with 16 digital channels your neighbour will not be changing your channels accidentally.

It is the worlds very first remote relay system to offer 16 separate channels, will intelligently process both standard remote control signals for all your DVD's, VCR's, satellite receivers as well as cable receivers which hither to could not be controlled with such devices.

P/N 10850 is for a receiver and transmitter set
P/N 10851 is for an additional transmitter, so that you can control, from a third room, etc

This unit, like all other extenders, is NOT able to extend Bang & Olufsen infra-red signals, since B&O uses very high frequency infra-red

Most users put the DigiEye infra-red receiver on top of the TV in the viewing room. The maximum workable distance between the remote control and the Digieye infra-red receiver is 9 feet which should be sufficient for most users, but if your TV is more than 9 feet away from you then you may need to position the Digieye closer to you.

Note that if you also want to send the audio/video signal up to your bedroom (or remote viewing room), then you should instead buy the DigiSender Gold X4 which will send the audio/video signal one way, and also allow you to control your remote products from that room. This includes being compatible with Digital Cable boxes
