The SLV5400 allows you to distribute any kind of video signal (Sky Digital,
cable, DVD, VCR, etc) throughout your house without the need for extra wiring,
running cables, or drilling holes.
Beside distributing video signals by wireless, the SLV5400 also functions as a
switch box for your main TV. It is equipped with 4 SCART input connectors.
These allow you to connect up to 4 video devices at the same time, so cable
swapping is no longer necessary. In addition, 3 of the SCART inputs can be
linked to the fourth one, which makes copying your video content very simple.
The included universal remote allows you to control your SLV5400, as well as
your second TV and up to 4 video sources, regardless of brand.
Please note that this unit uses both the 433MHz and 2.4GHz open frequencies
and it is possible for interference with other devices using those
frequencies to occur - for example wireless networks. Please also be aware
that video and audio sent via these units will almost certainly be
transmitted beyond your own property so it may be possible for users of
similar equipment to view the signal you are watching if they are close by.
Note. The SLV5400 is NOT suitable for use with Digital Cable Boxes
Pace 1000, 2000, 4000 or Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4000DVB, 4200. If you have one
of these Digital Cable Boxes then you should instead buy the
DigiSender Gold X4
which will perform the same function.
