A spare SkyHD digital remote control. Can be used to replace a faulty remote, or can be used in conjunction with a video sender or TVLink to allow convienient control from a second room. Note that when you receive your new SkyHD remote you will have to program it with the correct code for your TV, otherwise you will not be able to control functions of the TV. Please refer to the link below (Sky Remote TV Codes) or your Sky operating manual for code details of your make of TV. Note we have never had a faulty SkyHD remote, and customer returns are always because the new remote has not been setup with the TVs control code. The SkyHD remote comes by default setup to control a SkyHD box - no surprise there! But you can program it to operate a standard Sky box (obviously the Pause, Record, etc buttons won't work), or a Sky+ box To set the remote:
Q. The remote is faulty. I set the code, it works the TV for about 10 seconds and then stops working the TV A. You have not programmed the remote correctly.
