X10 SD18 Smoke Detector for use with SC2800/SC9000 Home Automation Controller

The SD18 smoke detector ensures that you receive a timely warning in case of a fire. When you are at home, the built-in siren will raise the alarm. Combined with your wireless security system the internal siren, the phone dialler and the light controller (not for HomeGuard) will also be activated. This means you will get optimal warning and your exits are clearly lit. When you are out, you will receive a warning via your mobile phone

Note for existing X10 users. The above security sensors use 16bit secure RF communication which is NOT compatible with normal X10 RF modules. In other words none of these sensors can be used with the TM13U
