The 283DPRO Professional Visible Emitter is a two-piece emitter featuring a Designer Emitter, the head-end piece can be attached to any electronic component, such as a DVD player. With dressed cables, using the included adhesive cable channels, an Emitter can now become part of the electronic equipment. The secondary section connects the Designer Emitter to a Xantech IR system. The 283DPRO eliminates cabling confusion and turns the most complex installation into a professional installation

Normal installation is via IR splitter block, then each emitter is placed directly over your equipment's IR "eye". An IR receiver may also be added which will allow you hide your equipment out of sight whilst still allowing infra-red control.
