VL88U (Gigavideo 70) - Video/Audio Extender System, inc Remote Control Extender

- Connect 2 sources to the sender, and easily switch between the sources using your existing remote, or manually on the sender
- Compatible with Sky, Sky+, SkyHD (in SD), Freeview, TiVo and DVD and VCR players
- Lets you watch and listen in stereo, to one of the above in the bedroom, without wires!
- Sends infra-red signals back again, so you can change channel, etc
- Plug-in and play - sets up in minutes
- Suitable for use with TVs without SCART sockets (can connect via the aerial input)
- Not compatible with some Digital Cable boxes - see below
It couldn't be simpler - Just plug your video/audio source (Sky, VCR, DVD,
etc) into the VL88's Transmitter, plug your bedroom TV into the
VL88's Receiver and then you're able to watch the source in the
bedroom! These radio based devices allow transmission through walls, using
2.4Ghz wireless technology for interference free transmission.
For total compatibility, the transmitter unit can take it's Video (Composite)
input by a SCART or phono sockets. The receiver can be plugged into the
receiving TV either by SCART or by using the UHF TV aerial input, which makes
it great for use with even older TVs that don't have a SCART input.
As well as sending video and stereo sound to your receiving TV, the VL88
also sends Infra-Red signals from your remote back down to the transmitter
unit, thereby allowing you to control your source (ie will let you change
channels on your Sky box, or Pause your DVD player, etc), from the comfort
of your bedroom.
Please note that this unit uses both the 433MHz and 2.4GHz open frequencies
and it is possible for interference with other devices using those
frequencies to occur - for example wireless networks. Please also be aware
that video and audio sent via these units will almost certainly be
transmitted beyond your own property so it may be possible for users of
similar equipment to view the signal you are watching if they are close by.

If you have multiple rooms then you may add extra receiver modules
(P/N: 10906), pictured left, into the system which will allow the extra rooms
to receive the pictures and sounds as well. |
