Payment/Security
|
Just like most internet sites today we use industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
technology to encrypt the information you send us.
Here at Let's Automate we use 128bit Global Server Certificate strong encryption
so you know the information you exchange with our site, during the Check Out
process will be secure.
Additionally we store your payment information on our own systems in an
encrypted form, so they are NOT human readable. Our back-end systems only
decrypt this information when sending payment requests to the credit card
gateway at Protx, via 128-bit encryption
Finally any paperwork that we may print whilst processing your order is
shredded before being discarded. Statatory paperwork, like Invoices, etc
is never printed with any payment details.
The contact for any security issues, questions or comments is
mikeh @ letsautomate.com
How to pay us
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch, Connect, Electron,
and Solo.
You can also send us a cheque (must be drawn on a UK bank's account).
Cheques require 7 days clearance before goods are despatched. You can
also transfer the money into our account by wire transfer, please e-mail
for details.
We do not accept payment by Diners Club.
When do we charge your card ?
We authorise the card at the time you place the order. If authorisation fails
(wrong address, wrong CVV) then you are told, and correct details are
requested. An authorisation places a "shadow" on your card for the order
value. No money has actually been taken yet.
When we process your order, we then charge the card. This could be the
same day, next day, or when out of stock goods have arrived into stock.
We only charge the card for what we are shipping (the exception being
curtain tracks which are paid in advance)
How do we clear your card ?
We authorise your card at the time of the order via Protx in real-time.
Do we send an invoice ?
We always send a VAT invoice. If you choose to have the same invoice
and delivery address then we include the invoice with your goods. If you
choose a different delivery address to that of your invoice then we post
the invoice to your invoice address, and include a delivery note with your
goods.
