- X10 controlled dimmer
- Suitable for dimming Incandescent Lamps (60W - 700W) and Dimmable Electronic Low
Voltage Transformers (60W - 525W)
- Compatible with "Professional X10" commands allowing direct access to 64 dim levels
- Memory dim - returns to the same dim level, the next time you turn it on
- Fade-up and Fade-down - gradually raises the light's brightness when turned on, and gradually lowers the brightness when turned off
- DIN mounted - installs in Consumer Unit
The LD11 is a DIN mounted lamp module, and will control standard bulb lights,
and low voltage lighting (using leading edge transformers) up to a maximum of
700 watts.
The lamp module is useful when you wish to be able to dim the light you are
controlling. The module has soft-start (when turned on, the module will gradually
brighten the light from 0 up to the last dim level. When turned off, the
reverse occurs. This extends the life of your bulbs enormously), and can be
dimmed using Extended X10
functions (as sent by the likes of the HomeVision Home Controller which gives
a dimming range of 64 units, you can additionally dim or brighten from any
level to any level).
The really great thing about the LD11 (over and above the LW10) is that it
"remembers" the last dim level. So when you next turn the module on, it will
soft-start up to the previous dim level (the level it was when you last
turned it off).
The LD11 requires a momentary push switch to operate (ie: a switch
that is only on when you press it). We recommend using one the
switch types shown in the righthand column of this page. It is possible to
use any momentary switch as long as it can handle mains voltage.
A momentary push of the switch will either turn the light on or off. If you
press and hold the switch then the light will cycle through dim/brighten.
